Easiest Sugar Cookie Recipe Ever!!!
Okay okay okay... This recipe is the top tier when looking for something quick to bring to the holiday party or trying to wow your friends and family! I hope you love it as much as I do!!
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour
1 cup of granulated sugar (with some extra to the side for rolling)
1 stick of butter or a half cup
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
12 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl mix the butter and sugar on medium until it begins to look "fluffy".
2. Add your egg and vanilla extract, mix until well incorporated.
3. In a smaller bowl, whisk your flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add this to the large bowl and mix on low until you see it begin to come together. Be sure not to over mix.
4. After you're done mixing start making balls with your hands or a cookie scoop in you're desired size. Take each of the rolled balls and drop them into the extra sugar you set aside earlier. Insure each cookie is well coated.
5. Put your cookies on a baking sheet and allow them to chill for 30 minutes in the fridge. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees f while you wait!
6. Once your cookies finish chilling put them on a baking sheet spaced at least two inches apart.
7. Bake for 11 minutes or until the edges begin to turn that beautiful golden brown color. Allow your cookies time to cool after baking.
